Infections We Treat

We at Rapid Care Center, Kirkland, a walk-in clinic, provide care for a range of infections that require prompt attention. These infections can be caused by viruses, bacteria, or other pathogens, and they may cause symptoms such as fever, chills, fatigue, body aches, and pain or discomfort in specific parts of the body.

Here's a list of some of the infections we can treat:

  • Sinus Infections: An inflammation of the sinuses that can cause pain, pressure, and congestion in the face.

  • Ear Infections: A bacterial or viral infection that can cause pain, fever, and difficulty hearing.

  • Urinary Tract Infections (UTIs): An urinary tract infection that can cause pain or burning during urination, frequent urination, and lower abdominal pain.

  • Strep Throat: A bacterial infection that can cause a sore throat, fever, and swollen lymph nodes in the neck.

  • Skin Infections: An infection of the skin that can cause redness, swelling, and pus-filled bumps or sores.

  • Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs): An infection that can be transmitted through sexual contact and may cause symptoms such as discharge, pain, or rash.

​Signs and Symptoms of the conditions: 

  • Fever

  • Chills

  • Fatigue

  • Body aches

  • Rash

  • Discharge

  • Pain or discomfort in specific parts of the body

  • Sore throat

  • Painful urination

  • Pain or swelling in the affected area​

  • Frequent urination

  • Abdominal pain

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Diarrhea

​When to Seek Help

  • Your symptoms are severe or getting worse, and you're not improving with self-care.

  • You have a high fever, especially if you're over 65 or have a weakened immune system.

  • You have severe pain or discomfort, especially if it's localized to a specific part of your body.

  • You have a rash, discharge, or other symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection (STI).

  • You have persistent symptoms that last for more than a few days, or you have recurrent infections.
