Symptoms You Shouldn’t Ignore
If you experience any of the following symptoms, it could be related to a fall or minor injury:
Pain or tenderness in the affected area
Swelling or bruising
Redness or warmth around the injury
Bleeding from cuts or abrasions
Difficulty moving the affected limb or joint
Limited range of motion
Numbness or tingling in the injured area
Blisters from burns or friction injuries
Tenderness in the injured muscle or joint
Frequent swelling or pain after activity

When to Seek Help
If any of the following occur, it’s important to seek medical attention promptly:
Suspected fractures or broken bones.
Inability to bear weight on an injured limb or joint.
Deep cuts that require stitches or have foreign objects embedded in them.
Minor burns covering a large area or involving sensitive areas like the face, hands, or feet.
Severe pain or swelling from a sprain or strain that limits movement.
​Wounds that won’t stop bleeding or show signs of infection (redness, warmth, pus).
​Head injuries causing loss of consciousness, confusion, or severe headaches.
